In humid climates like Houston, this is where cabinetry either holds up or starts to fail. We use industrial Italian SCM Group equipment together with PUR adhesive to create tightly sealed edges that block moisture and stay stable over time.

This allows us to seal the most exposed part of the panel, preventing moisture from entering and damaging the core material.

PUR vs EVA
Not all edge bonding performs the same.
EVA adhesive remains more sensitive to heat and moisture, which can lead to edge lifting or visible glue lines over time.
PUR reacts with moisture in the air and forms a much stronger, sealed bond. Once cured, it becomes highly resistant to humidity, heat, and daily wear.
